The Department of Cannabis Control (Department or DCC) is the agency regulating commercial cannabis licenses for medical and adult-use cannabis in California.

The Department of Cannabis Control is responsible for licensing and regulating cannabis retailers, cultivators, manufacturers, distributors, testing laboratories, and microbusinesses. The Department of Cannabis Control also licenses cannabis events in the state of California.
