David A. Carman has over 30 years of experience representing businesses and individuals in civil litigation. He has been counsel in a broad range of civil litigation matters, including cases involving business disputes over ownership issues, contractual disputes, fraud claims, unfair competition, employment issues, intellectual property, defamation, legal malpractice, and antitrust.

David has first-chair trial experience in both state and federal court. In addition, he has experience with alternative dispute resolution proceedings, including mediation and arbitration. David has also represented clients before administrative bodies and appellate courts.

David is a summa cum laude graduate of Syracuse University College of Law, where he was a member of the law review, and a member of the school’s honor society. During law school, David received awards for his participation in moot court competitions.

Over his career, David has litigated cases in state and federal court in California. He has also represented clients in federal courts in Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, Minnesota, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.

Some of the cases on which David has worked have involved high profile clients or matters that have attracted media attention. And David has litigated matters with, and against, some of the largest law firms in the world.

David’s experience allows him to focus litigation on the key issues important to a successful outcome. This benefits clients regardless of whether the litigation resolves via settlement, or via trial.
